Cloud In The Public Sector
As cloud computing grows in popularity and many public sector organisations are now demonstrating that they have indeed seen very tangible benefits from adopting a cloud strategy, it is safe to say that CIO’s are now embracing the Government’s IT strategy for ‘cloud computing’.
Whilst there is still a lot of confusion surrounding the cloud, there are some very simple questions you can ask yourself before deciding if it is the right time to engage in a conversation about cloud computing.
- Do you want to make huge cost savings on hardware?
- Are you being forced to reduce headcount in your IT department?
- Would you rather pay for your IT in small, easy to manage, predictable chunks?
If the answer is yes, then now is definitely a good time to engage in the cloud conversation.
